The moment I walked through the door, I knew it was going to be memorable dinner. Greeted by a handsome host my girlfriend and I were seated near the window of this beautifully designed restaurant. Perusing the menu, both of us had a difficult time choosing from the bounty of classic Italian dishes.

Finally, for the appetizer, I opted for the “Torta Del Granchio”, a delectable cake made of shrimp, crab and scallop, immersed in a divine, sweet vegetable chutney and spicy remoulade. Each bite melted in my mouth. All I could murmur was “ummm” as I relished each and every morsel.

My companion chose the “Gamberi Luci”, a signature dish featuring shrimp cocktail with mango/ avocado/orange mayo Again, perfection!

For the main course, the waiter recommended the “Costoletto Dagnello”, grilled lamb chops with lemon mint sauce. This being my favourite meat, I was ecstatic over with the perfect texture and juiciness. My friend ordered the “Spigola”, a whole sea bass accompanied by a refreshing orange and arugula salad. Although not a huge fan of fish, I must admit that the dish was absolutely tasty. The balance of the punginess of the bass and the sweet tang of orange was truly memorable.
